Here's a very nice article and photo in todays issue of the Boston Herald (page 15 of the paper edition). It all happens tonight! http://bostonherald.com/entertainment/arts_culture/view.bg?articleid=1061142414

Phototrop: art in a truck tonight in Boston

PHOTOTROP is a project I'm working on with Vela Phelan. It's part of a new series of mobile art events curated by Ethan Kiermaier called White Walls. We'll be driving all over Cambridge and Boston, here's the schedule (all times and locations are approximate and subject to change): 8:00-9:00pm - +42° 21' 28.85", -71° 6' 5.67" 9:30-10:30pm - +42° 21' 44.30", -71° 5' 55.39" 11:00-midnight - +42° 21' 24.97", -71° 8' 19.23" 12:30-later - +42° 18' 38.65", -71° 6' 22.04" I'll be tweeting updates as things change: twitter.com/jessekaminsky

bikeride in the Gothamist

It's strange when something you make for yourself and a couple of friends gets picked up by a media outlet and broadcast to the world. Suddenly decisions I made very casually are subject to the same scrutiny as actual art. This wasn't intended to be a big thing but I'm flattered that the Gothamist thought it was worth an article. http://gothamist.com/2012/06/07/heres_what_it_looks_like_to_circumn.php

on May 5th, 2012 I rode my bike around the island of Manhattan. More or less, there were a few detours on the way. Here is a time lapse video of the ride:
